Scripture Readings for Sunday Nov. 11th

11/8/2012

The readings for Sunday, November 11th, the 32nd Sunday in Ordinary Time can be found here: http://usccb.org/bible/readings/111112.cfm

Please take some time before going to church this weekend to read and reflect upon Scripture. Take some time to see the connections between the First Reading and the Gospel.

As  a new exercise, please try at least one of the following:
  1. Read the scripture before going to mass and write down any questions you may have using the COMMENT function for this blog.
AFTER MASS, return to this Blog and note any changes, answers, other questions, that arose after hearing the Word of God proclaimed and hearing the Homily at mass.
  2. Pay attention to the music at mass: the Entrance Song, Psalm, Mass Acclamations, Communion Hymns, Recessional.
Are there any words that made an impression upon you or helped you have a deeper experience of God's presence at the Mass and for your life?
Use the COMMENT function on this blog to share.

I actually understood the Gospel, and both of the Readings for once!

I'm glad you had that experience. If you are persistent, this will not be the first time (or the last).
I've appreciated your questions and comments, online, email, and at our meetings. Thanks.
