Here are the first two important dates we discussed at our meeting:
- SAT DEC 8th at 9AM: If possible, please come to the Mass for the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. For Catholics, this feast is a Holy Day of Obligation.
Readings for the Feast of the Immaculate Conception are available here.
(Remember, you can also click on an AUDIO, or VIDEO reflection on the right hand side under the calendar). - WED DEC 12th 7PM: Remember that we will meet in the Lobby to celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. The celebration starts in the Guadalupe chapel. Then there is a procession from there into the church. This is an important celebration for the Spanish Community and will be followed by a reception in Atonement Hall featuring Latino foods.
The basic story of Our Lady of Guadalupe is here.
Another article is here.
The readings for the day are here.
(You might want to print them out. Remember, the mass is in Spanish). A Spanish/English outline of the mass is available as a PDF (see below)
