Question #3: What is meant by "The Catholic church is a sign of the communion that all of humanity is called to." (Page 28).

I'm not exactly sure either but my best guess is that we are all called to be in a relationship with God and each other and the church is a place we can be together.

God creates us and calls us to him. This is the communion he seeks. That we turn our hearts to him and answer that call. The catholic church calls all men to this union. Not just catholics, but all men. We are the catholic church that is called to go forth and make believers of all men. Blessings!

I hope you wrote it down:
Sacraments are an outward sign of an inward reality.
They make the invisible visible.
Jesus is the sacrament of God.
The church is the sacrament of Jesus.
